education system;<\/li>\n<li>To develop skills and qualifications of the Secondary School Teaching Staff;<\/li>\n<li>To promote the development of institutional competences of the University of S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 e Pr\u00edncipe (USTP) and the Ministry of Education and Higher-Education (MEES);<\/li>\n<li>To improve Sao Tome and Principe\u2019s education system, especially regarding the !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>How?<\/h2>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewing the Initial Teachers\u2019 Training;<\/li>\n<li>Updating the didactic training component;<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing and updating the supervised pedagogical practice component;<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the pedagogical implementation and supervision of teaching internships;<\/li>\n<li>Promoting USTP\u2019s Teaching Staff professional development;<\/li>\n<li>Improving labs, library and long-distance learning classrooms\u2019 resources and tools;<\/li>\n<li>Developing research regarding the project\u2019s activities;<\/li>\n<li>Supporting USTP, specifically the academic and administrative services and the professional development of its staff;<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the development and consolidation of the Continuous and On-The-job Training of teaching staff Office;<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing and\/or elaborating guidelines for the Continuous and on-the-job training;<\/li>\n<li>Supporting technically and logistically the secondary school pedagogical supervision sector;<\/li>\n<li>Providing continuous training, concerning didactic, pedagogical and scientific aspects on the following subjects: Portuguese, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Biology and English, with close monitoring of subject coordinators and teachers, with the development of pedagogical materials (regarding the training scope);<\/li>\n<li>Supporting quality, efficacy and efficiency development of school administrative and management processes;<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the Internal Education Service (IGE) in implementing the school internal and external evaluation;<\/li>\n<li>Developing an evaluation system proposal for the teacher\u2019s performance;<\/li>\n<li>Supporting Portuguese and Mathematics teaching in the Autonomous Region of Principe;<\/li>\n<li>Providing and implementing an innovative program On-the-job training of high-school teachers in the Autonomous Region of Principe, in collaboration with the USTP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text
